Once real estate has truly struck home with you, Ryan’s next step would be to begin your licensing course, you can find many options online like The CE Shop or Moseley Real Estate School. It is advised to take this course in person to learn as much information as you can.
After you have completed your real estate course, it is time to take your test. Your course provider should provide you with a link to take this test. You should take this test immediately after completing the course as the information will still be fresh in your head.
When you have completed your test, you will want to submit your licensing application to the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation . DPOR (The Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation) can take anywhere from 30-45 days to process your application, so make sure you complete it as soon as you can!
After you’ve submitted your application, take this time to get things prepared for your business, like business cards, website, etc.. You’ll receive an email when your application is approved and from there, it’s go time! Register with your local real estate association and MLS and BOOM.. it’s time to start the career you’ve been dreaming of starting!
